5th Annual Farmers Market
"on the Square" in Downtown Caldwell
The Burleson County Cooperative Extension office and the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring the third annual Farmers Market on the square in downtown Caldwell. The market days will offer countywide and surrounding area growers an opportunity to sell their fresh and locally grown produce. Everyone is invited to come out and buy fresh picked crops. The market days are scheduled for Saturdays beginning the last weekend in May through July; 7:00 am until sell-out.

The goal of the Farmers Market is to build a centrally located, community market with local produce and farmers as the centerpiece. The extension office and chamber would like to see the market days eventually include prepared food vendors and local artisans. The market’s downtown location lends toward shopping, dining, sight seeing while visiting historic downtown Caldwell.

There is no charge for participation, so come and sell your produce. Each area farmer is responsible for setting produce prices, so cost may vary by vendor.

Because it is our objective to make this market productive and rewarding for all, participating vendors are encouraged to reserve a vendor spot on the square by calling the chamber office at (979) 567-0000.
