Be sure to enclose photographs of all the types of items you plan to sell. If your item is not checked or listed on your application it will not be allowed in your booth.)

Enclosed you will find an application form and exhibition rules. The Booth Fee for the limited area around the Courthouse Square is $100.00 per booth. All other areas are $75.00 per booth. Booth assignments will be made at the discretion of the Arts & Crafts Committee. Every attempt will be made to assign locations in order of receipt of applications, pending jury review of photos.

FEE: Booth fees must accompany your application. If you are requesting a booth around the courthouse please enclose one check for $75.00 and a second check for $25.00. If your application is not selected for the Courthouse Square you will be returned your $25.00 check.

If the bank returns your check, you will be charged an additional $20.00 handling fee.

PHOTOS: One photo shall be submitted in each category to be exhibited. Polaroid photos are accepted. Even if you exhibited last year, please send photos. If you would like your photos returned, please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope.

EXHIBITION RULES

Please help us to maintain the integrity of this show by closely examining these rules as they apply both to your work and to your conduct on the festival grounds.

All artists must send a photo of their work and a check for the booth fee along with their application. This is a juried show and all entries are reviewed.

A confirmed reservation from the Kolache Festival is a commitment to show. No refunds will be made for cancellation or removal for cause.

All artists must show and sell Saturday, September 13, 2008, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

DO NOT BRING ANY VENDOR VEHICLES INTO THE FESTIVAL AREAS UNTIL AFTER 7:00 P.M. ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2008.

A Standards Committee composed of various Board Members will view all displays. The Standards Committee shall have the right to remove any work or vendor that violate any of the rules of the Kolache Festival Arts & Crafts Show or any ordinance or law of either the City of Caldwell, Burleson County, the State of Texas or United States of America.

Booth sizes are approximately 10' by 10'. All Exhibitors are required to stay within the booth area they are assigned. Exhibitors are not allowed to encroach or block any sidewalk or walkway in the festival area. Exhibitors must provide their own display equipment. It is recommended that Exhibitors bring a canopy or tent that can set on an asphalt street surface. No electricity is available for Arts & Crafts Exhibitors.

Set up time is 7:00PM on September 12th to 7:30 AM, Saturday, September 13, 2008. Please do not attempt to setup before 7:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2008.

No booth refunds will be made after assignments have been mailed. Booths not occupied by 8:00 AM, on Saturday, September 13, 2008, will be re-assigned.

Commercial items will be accepted this year but will have their own seperate section of booths. If you intend to sell handcrafted as well as commercial items you will be placed in the commercial booth rows. Please designate on the application which you are bringing, either handcrafted or commercial. Please note that there are only a limited number of commercial booths so please respond quickly.

NO FIREWORKS of any kind allowed on the festival grounds.

Vendor vehicles are not allowed in area after unloading. Please move to the assigned Arts and Crafts Vendor parking lot or side streets.

Exhibitor vehicles are NOT allowed in the Festival area from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on Saturday September 13, 2008.

Sales tax collection and payment will be exhibitor’s responsibility. Sales Tax permit must be posted and plainly visible in your booth at all times. It is a state law that you report your sales tax collected on this day. Please include Sales Tax permit number on your entry application. The State Comptroller's Office will be present the day of sales and will be checking each booth individually for permits. If you have not paid or are behind in sales taxes the Comptroller's office will not allow you to set up at our festival.

ARTIST RELEASE AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I hereby make application to become an exhibitor in the KOLACHE FESTIVAL ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW. I have read and understand the rules that have been established by the Kolache Festival Arts & Crafts Committee and I further agree to abide by the rules and regulations as enumerated herein and as maybe set forth in the future. Furthermore, I hereby release and forever discharge the Kolache Festival from any responsibility or liability for loss, claims, damages, theft, injury or accident. It is further agreed that this applicant shall maintain his/her space, merchandise, activities and business practices in compliance with the laws of the State of Texas and the City Ordinances of Caldwell and Burleson County. Applicant understands that any violation of or non-compliance with same may result in immediate expulsion of Applicant and his/her exhibit from the Festival.
