Tickets can be purchased for $1 or six for $5.  To purchase a ticket contact Mary Wolz, President (979) 535-7765, a guild member, or the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce at (979) 567-0000.

This is a one of a kind quilt.  Each guild member was given a packet of red, white and blue fabric to create a 12 1/2" block.  The blocks were then sashed together and the quilt was hand quilted by members of the guild.

There will be over 80 beautiful handmade quilts on display.  Come and enjoy the beautiful quilts and other items made by the Creative Memories Quilt Guild.  You can vote on your favorite quilt or quilted item.  There will also be a "Country Store" with a great selection of hand-made items.

Creative Memories Quilt Guild was organized in 1986 by women who loved quilts and wanted to learn and share ideas about quilting.

Meetings consist of refreshments, a business meeting, show and tell, program - which may include a guest speaker, lecture, handouts and seasonal projects.

As a guild, the members share a fun-filled day.  Visitors are welcomed and no experience is needed, just an interest to learn about quilting.

The Creative Memories Quilt Guild's past community service projects include:

• quilts for all nine area fire departments

• quilts for sheriff's department

• lap quilts for nursing home

• donation quilt for Burleson St. Joseph Health Center

• annual donation to Christian Care

• annual beginner quilt classes

The Creative Memories Quilt Guild has held a quilt show in September every year since 1986, and now have expanded to a three day quilt show.  The quilt show is held at the Caldwell Civic Center two days prior to the Kolache Festival and day of the Kolache Festival.
