How do membership dollars go to
work for you?
The Chamber of Commerce is a unique organization. By definition it is a
voluntary association of business, industry, professional and other
interested persons. A growing county chamber such as ours is expected to
be as diverse as the people it represents.
Our Chamber puts lobbyists,
sales representatives, public relations, marketing, goodwill ambassadors
and informational consultants on your payroll.
CHAMBER WEBSITE Every Chamber Member is listed on the website
and can include a link to your website free. Chamber members are welcome
to submit events to the Chamber for inclusion on the website.
REFERRAL NETWORK - The Chamber receives and answers calls from
the public either asking for a confirmation that a business is a chamber
member or requesting a referral for a specific type of business.
BROCHURE DISPLAY - Chamber members can bring a quantity of
brochures or promotional literature about their business to display in a
special display case located in the chamber lobby. The Chamber receives
visitors each day who come by the office to gather information on
Burleson County, cities and its local businesses.
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY The Chamber produces and distributes a
membership directory for visitors relocation and new resident packets.
Each Chamber member has a free listing providing vital contact
information.
LOCAL MEDIA Conducts ribbon cuttings and grand openings for new
and expanding businesses with local press coverage in the monthly BC
Connection inserted monthly in the Burleson County Tribune.
PROMOTES Actively pursue positive exposure for the area in both
regional and state media
markets with results. Promotes county events and festivals with listings
in state travel calendars, printing and production of brochures, and
banners and signage.

1 full-time
Donations above the fees listed are always appreciated.

The Chamber At Work Collectively our Chamber offices use several
resources and tools everyday to help promote businesses and our
communities.
CHAMBER WEBSITE Every Chamber Member is listed on the website
and can include a link to your website free. Chamber members are welcome
to submit events to the Chamber for inclusion on the website.
CHANNEL 12 Channel 12 advertising is available to all chamber
members in a business card style format for free including a photos.
CHAMBER DIRECTORY The Chamber directory keeps your business out
there for years to
come. Updated annually this is the first piece of information put in the
hands of visitors, new
residents and those needs business referral information.
INSITE MAGAZINE - Your membership includes a free subscription
to INSITE MAGAZINEA
premier magazine out of Bryan/College Station serving the Brazos Valley.
MAPS One of our most requested items is local maps and we work
to have the most up to date maps available to get people around our
communities and Lake Somerville.
VISITORS BAGS We receive requests for hospitality and/or
visitors bags to be made for
conferences, reunions, meetings, and tours which will include brochures,
business cards, and promotional item promoting your business.
NEW RESIDENT PACKAGES First shot at potential new business and
putting your best foot forward, new resident packages are a delight for
new residents looking to get settled in and
acquainted with area business and resources.
NETWORKING Probably the most powerful tool is the Chambers
connection to a vast network of people, businesses, information and data
that we can share with our members.
CIVIC REFERRAL Provides referrals for clubs, civic
organizations, charities, agencies and governmental bodies to current
and new residents.
