First Baptist School

First Baptist School strives to partner with families, the community, and First Baptist Church to equip students for life, academic success, and their spiritual calling.

The world, now than ever, needs strong Christians and strong Christian schools. First Baptist School is more than an alternative to public education. First Baptist School is a Biblical mandate, an environment that will produce a generation of disciples who can change their world, a world that has become increasingly complex and indifferent to the message of the Gospel. In Matthew 22:37, Jesus charges us to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." The heart, soul, and mind are so important as we daily learn who we are and whom we belong to. The heartbeat of First Baptist School is that we partner with parents to train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6)

First Baptist School has been a vital part of the ministries of the First Baptist Church since its inception in 1981. Originally, it began as a Pre-Kindergarten only program; however, with the growing need of a Christian-based curriculum, the school has expanded to include a Wee 3’s program through the Eighth Grade. First Baptist School is pleased to provide the choice of Christian education in Caldwell, Texas, and is open to any family in the community, regardless of church affiliation. First Baptist School exists to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ through daily education in a non-denominational format.

Our school offers a full range of academic instruction with Christian-based principles. These principles are shown through our caring and committed staff as well as our observance of daily chapel services and an infused Biblical instruction. First Baptist School utilizes the small-class-size method which affords ample opportunity for one on one interaction between students and teachers and staff.

If you wish to partner with First Baptist School in offering a scholarship, serving as a substitute teacher, seeking a full-time teaching role, or in any other capacity please contact our office at 979-567-3771.
